Questions people ask first
Do I need the official NMJL card?
For the card's hands, yes — bring your own current card. The app is not affiliated with the National Mah Jongg League and does not include the card, which is copyrighted; cards come from nmjl.org. Thirty original example hands are included and shown in full, so you can play and learn without one.
Can I play on my computer?
Yes. The Parlor runs in any browser — the same account, the same tables and the same friends as your phone, on a full-size screen.
Is it free?
Everything you play on your own is free, always. Online play is free for your first month, then the Parlor Pass is $4.99 a month or $49.99 a year.
What if my fourth doesn't turn up?
Bots take the empty chairs, at the skill level the table's host picks, and hand the seat back when a person arrives.
