Yes. The Parlor runs in any browser — open mahjong-parlor.fly.dev on a laptop or desktop and log on with the same name and password you use on your phone. Same account, same friends, same tables, on a full-size screen. Your phone and your computer are one player: log on in one place and the other signs out, so nobody can be at two tables at once.
Tap Play Online, pick a game, and Start a table. You'll get a four-letter code and a link — text the link to anyone and it opens straight to your table. Empty seats can always be filled with bots, so a game never has to wait.
Names are unique — one "Greta" in the whole parlor — so adding a friend is just their name. Tap any player's name at a table, in chat, or use the Friends card in the lounge. Requests need accepting, so friendship is always mutual. Friends can message each other, see when the other is online, and get a knock with a Join button the moment the other opens a table.
Someone claimed it first (names are first-come, first-served). The app offers a free variant on the spot — or if the name was yours on an old phone or a deleted install, it frees up automatically after a month unused, and the developer can release it sooner on request.
Rejoin within a minute and your seat is exactly as you left it; the table waits. Take longer and a bot covers your seat until you return — you can always come back to your own game, even after force-quitting the app. Games also survive our server updates.
Tap the ⋯ on any of their messages to Report (the developer reads every report) or Block — blocking hides them from you everywhere, immediately. Direct messages are only possible between mutual friends, so strangers can never message you.
Provably. Before each hand is dealt, the server publishes a cryptographic commitment to the shuffle; when the hand ends it reveals the seed so anyone can verify the wall was fixed before a single tile was seen. The proof is on every result screen.
The full four-player American game (Charleston, calling, jokers, and scoring), tile-matching Solitaire with a daily challenge, and Tower, an escalating challenge mode. The app teaches as you play: an optional coach shows which hands you're closest to and which tiles matter.
No — the app ships thirty original example hands built on the same pattern families. The National Mah Jongg League's yearly card is copyrighted and is not reproduced.
The whole offline game is free, always. Online play — the live tables, the Daily Deal on The Official Card, the weekly ladder, friends and chat — is the Parlor Pass. Your first month online is on us: the first time you sit down at an online table, thirty days start, with no card and nothing to cancel.
After that the Parlor Pass is $4.99 a month or $49.99 a year, bought in the app through Apple (Menu › Parlor Pass). It renews automatically until you cancel, and you keep it to the end of the period you paid for.

To report or block another player, tap the ⋯ beside anything they said in the Parlor. Blocking hides them everywhere and keeps them out of any table you are sitting at; reporting sends us the message and where it was said. We review reports and act on them, and we do not tolerate objectionable content or abusive behavior.
